About the Game

Spice is a 6-reel, 6-row video slot from NetEnt with the Avalanche™ feature, 7 main game features, including 3 different Wild features, Free Spins, Super Free Spins, and the Elevate feature. The gameboard consists of 6 vertical reels and an additional top row, which acts as a Feature Lane with 6 positions. Symbols on the Feature Lane move from right to left before landing on the reels.

The game features 15,625 ways to win and varying bet values. Matching symbols in any position on three or more adjacent reels, from the leftmost to the rightmost reel, without gaps, results in a win for one win mode. Additional wins per win mode are created when additional instances of the symbol appear on the same reels as the longest win per win mode.

Only the longest combination of a single symbol is paid. Simultaneous wins from different win modes are summed up.
The payout for each winning combination is based on the paytable and the total bet.

Each winning position receives a multiplier, starting at x2 and doubling each time it contributes to a subsequent win during the Avalanches game.

For each winning symbol, the total multipliers from all its winning positions are applied to the win calculation.

Buy Bonus / Elevate Feature

Game features can be activated using the Level Up feature. The Level Up feature allows you to activate one of the following features during a single game round:

	Bonus Hunt	Increasing your bet by 3 times increases the chance of triggering free spins.
	Base Multiplier Layer	At 10x the bet, the game round starts with multipliers applied to all positions.
	Base Multiplier Layer with Bonus Hunt	At the start of the round, where winnings are multiplied by 50 times the bet, multipliers are applied to all positions, and the chance of landing Scatter symbols to activate Free Spins is also increased.
	Free Spins	Landing 3 or more Scatter symbols on the reels multiplies your winnings by 100x and triggers free spins. Super Free Spins are also available.
	Super Free Spins	Win 500x your bet by landing 3 or more Scatter symbols, one of which is a Super Scatter and activates Super Free Spins.

Max Win

The maximum payout in Spice is 15,000x the bet. When the total win amount exceeds this amount, the game round will end and 15,000 times the bet will be awarded.

Game Rules

• Wild

Wild symbols can appear on reels 1 through 6, including the Feature Lane, and substitute for all regular symbols that can form winning combinations.

Wild symbol substitutions pay out based on the maximum bet, as per the paytable.

The Feature Line may feature a number of special features that may appear in the game area during the game.
These features may modify symbols, create additional winning opportunities, or increase multipliers. All features interact with the Avalanche feature and can be activated during it.

• Scatter Symbol

Two types of Scatter symbols can appear on the reels: Scatter and Super Scatter.

Scatter symbols on the Feature Lane do not count toward free spins, but can appear on the reels during Avalanches.
Landing 3 or more Scatter symbols activates free spins. However, landing 3 or more Scatter symbols, including at least one Super Scatter, activates Super Free Spins.

• Bomb

When there are no winning combinations and at least one Bomb symbol appears on the reels, the Bomb feature is activated.

It clears its position along with all adjacent regular symbols in a 3×3 square.
At the same time, any multipliers associated with the affected positions are doubled.

Row Converter

The Row Transformer feature is activated when a winning combination hasn’t formed and no other features are active.
It transforms all matching symbols in a horizontal row into the same symbol.
The selected symbol is chosen from among those present in that row, which can lead to additional winning combinations.

9-Square Converter

The 9-Square Converter is activated when there are no winning combinations, the 9-Square Converter symbol is present, and there is no Bomb symbol on the reels.

It selects one regular symbol and transforms a 3×3 reel into that symbol, increasing the potential for bigger wins.

• Random Wilds

The Random Wilds feature transforms a set of regular symbols into Wilds.

The number of symbols transformed depends on the number of matching symbols, but at least one symbol will always be affected.

• Locked Wild

Locked Wild symbols act as wild symbols and remain in place during the Avalanche feature.

When they form part of a winning combination, they remain on the reels, allowing them to contribute to multiple consecutive wins in a single round.

In the main game, landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatter symbols during a game round awards 5, 8, 10, or 12 free spins, respectively, when the Avalanche feature ends and wins are counted.
If at least one of these Scatter symbols is a Super Scatter symbol, Super Free Spins are activated instead.
During Free Spins and Super Free Spins, the same mechanics and features apply as in the main game, with some enhancements.
Multipliers earned during Avalanche are not reset between spins and carry over to all Free Spins and Super Free Spins, increasing the potential for bigger wins.

Additional free spins can be awarded for special symbols:

• Landing a +3 symbol awards 3 additional spins.
• Landing a golden +3 symbol also awards 3 additional spins and upgrades the current Free Spins to Super Free Spins if it is not already active.

Free Spins and Super Free Spins are played with the same bet as the round that triggered them. When the Free Spins or Super Free Spins end, their total winnings are added to any winnings from the round that triggered them, and the game returns to that round.

Example of winning combination calculation

The longest winning combination of low-paying symbols is 4 symbols on reels 2-6. The number of winning combinations is determined by multiplying the number of matching symbols on each reel contributing to the win: 2 x 1 x 1 * 1 = 2 winning combinations.

Avalanche™ Feature

Locating a winning combination on the reels triggers the Avalanche™ feature. Symbols in winning combinations disappear, making room for a new Avalanche. The Avalanche continues until there are no winning combinations left on the reels.

Pay Mechanic

The game features up to 15,625 ways to win.
Matching symbols in any position on three or more adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel and ending with the rightmost reel, without gaps, results in a win according to the winning method. Only the longest combination of two identical symbols is paid.
