About the Game

Love Nest is a 5-reel, 5-row slot from Shady Lady. The game features 3,125 ways to form winning combinations. The maximum win is capped at 20,000 times the bet (or the base bet when purchasing bonus features). Winning combinations are formed by matching symbols on adjacent reels, starting from the left.

Buy Bonus

The Bonus game is triggered by landing 3 Scatter (Bonus) symbols, while the Super Bonus is triggered by landing 4. Scatter symbols are tallied at the end of the round, so a cascading win can be sufficient to launch the feature. A “Buried Box” is fixed at the bottom of the game area, with the reels spinning above it. During the Bonus game, 3 spins are awarded for each box, while the Super Bonus awards 5. Opening a box resets the spin counter, and a new box appears for the next spin. The Bonus game ends if a box is not opened within the allotted number of spins. Loot Box

Each loot box yields one random prize from nine “Enhanced Bonus” options, distributed across three categories: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Each category features three tiers (ranging from 1 to 3 stars). Prize value depends on the category: the lowest value is found in the 1-star Bronze tier, while the highest is in the 3-star Gold tier. “Enhanced Bonuses” function just like standard features but offer settings that are more favorable to the player. Game Rules

The Critter

Only one Critter can be on the game board at a time. It appears when no more winning combinations are landing.
If a “Buried Box” is present on the board, every cell the Critter traverses brings it closer to the box. If there is no box, the Critter traces a short, random path and disappears.
Upon reaching the “Buried Box,” the Critter always opens it.
The Critter passes through regular symbols but moves over bonus scatters without removing them from the board.
The Critter may stop moving before reaching the box; however, it still consumes all symbols along the path it has traveled.
Each high-value symbol (depicting a body part) consumed by the Critter creates a “Meat Eating Vortex” in the corresponding cell. Low-value symbols and Wilds do not trigger this effect.

Meat Eating Vortexes & Multiplier Moths

A “Meat Eating Vortex” opens in any cell where a Critter has consumed a high-paying body part symbol.
The vortex sucks in the symbols located above it on the reel. Scatter symbols and “Buried Boxes” are not consumed by the vortex.

The vortex then draws in between 1 and 50 additional meat symbols.
Each consumed high-paying body part symbol and each meat symbol transforms into a “Multiplier Moth,” increasing the total multiplier by +1. Low-paying symbols do not increase the multiplier.
The vortex can also generate up to 3 “Big Red Moths.” Each red moth doubles the current total multiplier (e.g., a 10x multiplier becomes 20x, and so on).
The total multiplier applies to every win. It resets on every new spin in the base game but does not reset during bonus games.

Buried Boxes

“Buried Boxes” are oversized symbols – spanning 1, 2, 3, or 4 cells – that always land in the bottom row.
Only one such box can be present on the game board at a time.
A closed box blocks the cells it occupies and does not contribute to forming winning combinations.
Each cell within the box that the Critter reaches transforms into a Wild symbol. Cells that the Critter does not reach remain closed and continue to block the board.

In the widest boxes, the Critter can only carve a path in one direction: if it enters from the edge, the entire box opens, whereas entering from the middle opens only one side.
A box may contain up to 10 moths (or, in rare cases, 50); upon reaching the box, all of them are added to the global multiplier. A box may also contain a single red moth.
A “Buried Box” opens once, awards a payout for the resulting Wild symbols, and then disappears.

Ground Tremor

The “Ground Tremor” feature can trigger during both the base game and bonus rounds. It starts at the bottom row and spreads upwards, potentially covering all rows. The affected rows collapse, and all symbols – except for “Buried Boxes” and bonus scatters – are removed, offering a “second chance” via a subsequent cascade.

Bonus Game

Collect 3 bonus scatter symbols to trigger the bonus game. A “Buried Box” is locked in place at the bottom of the game area, while the reels continue to spin above it. The bonus game employs a spin-reset mechanic: you have 3 attempts to move a “Critter” into the box. If the Critter lands in the box, the spin counter resets and a new box appears on the grid; if an attempt fails, the bonus game ends. The Global Multiplier persists throughout the bonus game and does not reset.

Super Bonus

Collect 4 bonus scatters to trigger the Super Bonus. It is the same “hunt,” but with an increased chance of large chests appearing and 5 spins per chest instead of 3 – giving you more opportunities to reach the “Buried Chests” and far more time to boost the total multiplier.
