Seotda Baccarat from Pragmatic Play combines the familiar traditional baccarat with the original Seotda card game, inspired by Korean culture, and is designed for both beginners and experienced players.
Two classic casino games, Seotda Baccarat, have been combined to create a unique and exciting card game: Shotda Baccarat. The game is played with 20 cards from the Khwatu deck, which consists of the two most valuable card types from January to October. The goal of the game is to predict which player or banker will receive the highest two-card hand. Hands are ranked according to the Shotda rules, which are detailed in the “Card Rankings and Values” section. You can also place side bets on which card combinations you think will yield the biggest wins.

The game uses a deck of 20 Hwatu cards with a unique design – two sets of numbers from 1 to 10, where each number represents the months from January to October. Three cards are exclusive “bright” cards, marked with the “光” symbol, which have the highest values.

Players bet on either the Player or the Banker to predict which of them will have the higher hand. Each side only receives two cards, eliminating the third card rule, making the game faster, simpler, and more exciting.
The optimal theoretical Return to Player (RTP) in Seotda Baccarat is 98.82% based on the Player and Banker bet spots.
| Bet Type | Return to Player |
| Player | 98.82% |
| Banker | 98.82% |
| Tie | 97.38% |
| Bet Type | Return to Player |
| Player Pair | 97.37% |
| Banker Pair | 97.37% |
| Player Bright | 96.32% |
| Banker Bright | 96.32% |

To begin the game, select the bet amount on the player, banker, or tie. You can also place bets on one or more side bets: player pair, banker pair, player and banker.
You can place or change your bets until the timer expires.
The dealer then deals four cards in the following order: the first and third cards to the player, and the second and fourth cards to the banker.
The side with the highest card combination wins, and the game ends. If both combinations have the same rank, the game ends in a tie.
Winning bets will be highlighted, and the winnings will be paid according to the selected bet type. Your winnings will be displayed on the screen.
After the game round is completed, all 20 cards are shuffled, and betting for the next round opens.
The game is played with 20 cards from the Huatu deck. The cards are numbered 1 through 10, with two cards of each number. Each number represents a month from January to October. Three cards marked with the character 光 are called bright cards.

The game uses a ranking system for card combinations, and the higher the rank, the better the combination. The card ranking is as follows:
The three highest-ranking combinations are two combinations of three bright cards, called Bright Pairs. One specific Bright Pair (3/8) is an unbeatable combination.

These are combinations of two cards with the same numbers, ranking just below the “bright pairs.” Tens are the highest-ranking pair, and ones are the lowest.

Special combinations rank lower than pairs. These combinations consist of cards from two specific months. Each combination must contain one card from each month. The highest special combination is 1/2, and the lowest is 4/6.

If your hand does not form any of the specified higher-ranking card combinations, the ranking is based on the sum of those two cards.
The first digit is dropped if the sum of the cards’ points is 10 or more, so the highest hand is 9 and the lowest is 0.

These are special card combinations that beat certain higher-ranking combinations. When dealt against any other hand, they are ranked as a point combination.

The “Bright Pair Hunter” (4/7) card combination beats two bright pairs, 1/8, and 1/3.
The Pair Hunter (3/7) card combination beats all the Pairs from 1 to 9.

The main bets are Player, Banker, and Tie. The highest-ranking hand wins. If the ranks of the cards in the Player and Banker hands are equal, it’s a tie. You only win if your bet was on a tie, and bets placed on the Player and Banker in this round are lost. Bets can be placed on the game board displayed on your screen. Placing bets on the Player and Banker may block opposing bets.
In addition to the main bets, you can also place side bets. You can place any or all side bets in a single round of play.
The “Player’s Pair” side bet wins if the two cards in the player’s hand make a pair, and the “Banker’s Pair” side bet wins if the two cards in the banker’s hand make a pair.
The “Player’s Bright Pair” side bet wins if the two cards in the player’s hand make a bright pair, and the “Banker’s Bright Pair” side bet wins if the two cards in the banker’s hand make a bright pair.
Seotda Baccarat is a unique card game inspired by the traditional Korean game of Seotda, seamlessly incorporating familiar baccarat-style betting rules.
Instead of the traditional eight-deck game, this game uses a unique 20-card Khwatu deck. The game is based on the classic “player versus banker” bet, where the goal is to predict which two-card combination will yield the highest-ranking card in a specially designed ranking system.
Seotda Baccarat also offers higher winning potential than standard baccarat, with payouts of up to 8:1 on player and banker bets and up to 80:1 on the new Bright card side bets, adding excitement to both beginners and experienced players.
