Secrets of the Golden Temple is a 6-reel video slot with varying reel heights (from left to right, 3, 4, 5, 5, 4, and 3 rows high), and 3,600 paylines. There are 10 regular pay symbols that award winnings when matching symbols appear on consecutive reels according to the paytable; all wins are paid left to right. An alternate base game mode can be selected by clicking the Max Play button. Gold coin symbols appear on the four central reels, each representing a cash prize awarded when they appear next to a coin collector, which can appear on the first and last reel. Game Rules

Gold Coins and Collectors

Each gold coin represents a cash value that is a multiple of the selected base bet. This can be any of the following multipliers: 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x, 3x, 3.5x, 5x, 10x, 20x, 25x, 50x, and 100x, plus 500x during Gold Collector Free Spins. These are awarded when appearing next to a Collector, which can appear on the first or last reel. Any Collector wins are multiplied by the value displayed above the reel the Collector is on. If a Collector appears on the first and last reels simultaneously, all coin prizes are collected by both Collectors.

In the base game, the Coin Collector multiplier resets to 1x after a coin win.

Gold Collector Free Spins use separate Coin Collector multipliers, which do not reset after a coin win. Any coins that land without a Coin Collector are added to the coin stacks displayed above the reel they appear on. Each time coins are added, these stacks can increase in size. If a Coin Collector appears without any coins, the temple may shake, causing one or more stacks to fall onto the reels below them, adding coins to each position on that reel. The Coin Collector multiplier displayed above the reel can increase to a maximum of 16x.

The state of the coin stacks remains unchanged when the bet is changed, but is saved independently for each game mode. The state of the coin stack multipliers is saved independently for both bet size and game mode. Coin Collectors and coin stacks are persistent and are cached when the game is exited. The size of a coin stack does not affect the probability of its landing.

Wild Symbol

The Wild symbol substitutes for all regular payout symbols and can appear on any of the 4 central reels. Any Wild symbols involved in a win will reveal a multiplier during the Wild Multiplier Free Spins feature. The Wild symbol does not appear in Max Play mode.

Bonus Trigger

Free spins are awarded for landing 3 or more Bonus symbols, which can appear anywhere on the 4 central reels, or by filling the Bonus Bar. If 2 Bonus symbols appear and the Bonus Bar is not filled, there’s a chance that any Bonus symbols landing directly above the reel window will be pushed down into the reel window.

Bonus Bar

The Bonus Bar is filled every time 2 Bonus symbols appear anywhere on the first 3 central reels without landing another Bonus symbol that triggers the bonus. The meter starts at 1/16 full, and each time the meter is replenished, there’s a chance it will fill completely. Otherwise, the maximum number of increments required to fill the meter is 15. Filling the meter adds two additional bonus symbols to the reels, triggering the bonus. The meter’s state remains constant when switching between standard and Max Play modes, but is saved independently for each bet size. The meter is persistent and cached when exiting the game.

Bonus Gamble

Once the meter reaches half full, a gamble will be offered each time the meter increases, provided the bonus has not been triggered. If the meter is full or the bonus is triggered by a bonus nudge, a gamble is not offered. If a gamble is accepted, the arrows displayed next to the meter will move up and down. If they stop pointing to a full section, the rest of the meter is filled; otherwise, the meter resets. The odds of winning a gamble are listed below:

During the Gold Collector Free Spins, one or both collectors are guaranteed to appear on every spin. Collector multipliers and coin stacks are independent of the base game. Coin collectors start at x1 and work the same as in the base game, except they don’t reset after a coin win. Coin stacks are fixed at their maximum size and have a chance to land on the reels whenever collectors appear without any coins.

Wild Multiplier

Bonus symbols can continue to appear during free spins:

During the Wild Multiplier Free Spins, jackpots and coins are removed from the reels, while jackpot multipliers and coin stacks are also removed from the top of the reels. Additional wild symbols are added to the center 4 reels and will award a x2, x3, or x4 multiplier if they contribute to a win, multiplying any wins on the paylines they are part of.

The bonus meter does not fill during either free spins feature. Bonus symbols can be triggered onto the reels during free spins, just like in the base game. Free spins are played with the same bet as the base game that triggered them.
