About the Game

Origami Quest is a 5-reel, 3-row video slot from Mascot Gaming with 10 fixed paylines that pay out left to right and right to left, starting with the outer reels.

The game begins in the main game, where the total bet is set on each spin based on the selected amount. During the game, players can activate the Free Re-Spins feature or enter the Gamble feature after any winning spin.

Game Rules

Wild. Wild symbols can only appear on reels 2, 3, and 4. Wild symbols substitute for all regular symbols to form winning combinations.

Free Spins

When a Wild symbol appears, it expands to cover the entire reel, becomes sticky, and awards 1 free respin. If more than one Wild symbol appears on a single spin, only 1 free respin is awarded. Each new Wild symbol appearing during a free respin also becomes sticky and awards 1 additional free respin. Free respins are triggered automatically with the same bet they were triggered with. All payouts are determined according to the paytable. The total winnings from the bonus game include any winnings from the spin that triggered it.

Boost Feature

The player can activate the Boost feature, which increases the chances of triggering free re-spins in the main game. The Boost feature operates on the Ante system, where a fixed premium is added to each bet when the feature is activated, according to the game rules. The Boost feature can be turned on or off at any time when the reels are not spinning.

Risk (Gamble) Feature

After any winning spin in Origami Quest, the player can choose to play Gamble, betting their current winnings for a chance to increase them. Gamble is played on a 5×3 grid using a full deck of cards. An Ace is considered the highest card and can only be beaten by a 2. At the start of the Gamble game, one random card chosen by the game is displayed on the screen, after which the player selects one of the face-down cards. If the chosen card is higher than the card chosen by the game, the player’s current winnings are doubled (x2). If the chosen card is lower, the entire wagered winnings are lost. If both cards are equal in rank, the player’s winnings remain unchanged. After each successful guess, the game reveals an additional card chosen by the player, and the player can continue the game of Risk by choosing one of the remaining face-down cards. With each successful guess, the number of available cards decreases. After revealing 6 cards, each subsequent successful guess multiplies the current winnings by x3. When 10 cards are revealed, the multiplier increases to x4, and when 12 cards are revealed, it increases to x5. The maximum achievable multiplier in the Risk game is x2000 of the total bet. At any time before the selection, the player can withdraw the current winnings instead of continuing the game.

Paylines

10 lines. Payouts are made both left to right and right to left, starting from the outer reels. Only the highest win per line is paid. A winning combination of five symbols is paid only once. Payouts depend on the selected bet and are scaled accordingly. The game is played with fixed bet lines. A failure cancels all payouts and game results.
