About the Game
Langley Street 23 is a 5-reel, 5-row, 35-payline slot from ELK Studios. Winning combinations begin on the leftmost reel and pay from left to right only on consecutive reels. There must be no gaps between reels in a winning combination. Only the longest winning combination on each active payline pays. The longest winning combination of symbols is considered an active payline.

Game Rules
The Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols except the Bonus, Multiplier, and Cassette symbols. The Wild symbol can land with a multiplier. A payline consisting entirely of Wild symbols pays the highest payout.
Wild, Expanding Wild, and Mystery symbols can have a multiplier value when they land on the reels. Possible multiplier values:
Wild: 2x, 3x, 5x, 8x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, or 100x. Expanding Wild: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, or 100x. Mystery: 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, or 100x. At the start of the game, there are 4 inactive features: Mystery symbols, Expanding Wild, Clone Wild, and Spectator Screen.
Cassette tapes can only land on reel 5 and are added to the spectator screen. The spectator screen and CRT TV status persists between game rounds for each bet level. Cassette tapes do not land during re-spins.
The probability of landing feature symbols depends on the number of cassette tapes collected.

Mystery Symbols
When a total of 6 cassettes are collected, a mystery symbol is revealed. A re-spin with mystery symbols is awarded. A mystery re-spin is a re-spin with at least one mystery symbol. When revealed, mystery symbols transform into identical payout symbols or Wild symbols. The mystery symbol can have a multiplier.
During each spin, symbols with a payout of at least one type can become Mystery symbols for the duration of that spin. When the reels stop, all Mystery symbols transform into the same selected symbol.
Expanding Wild
When a total of 12 reels are collected, an Expanding Wild is revealed. A re-spin with an Expanding Wild is awarded.
An Expanding Wild re-spin is guaranteed to contain at least one Expanding Wild.
An expanding Wild symbol takes up an entire reel and has two multiplier values. When all reels stop spinning, one of these values is selected and applied to the Wild symbol. If there are symbols with multipliers on the same reel when the Wild symbol expands, their values are added to the expanding Wild symbol.
The expanding Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols except the Bonus, Multiplier, and Cassette symbols, and can also contain a multiplier.
Clone Wilds
When a total of 18 reels are collected, a Clone Wild is revealed. A Clone Wild re-spin is awarded.
A Clone Wild re-spin is guaranteed to contain at least one Clone Wild.
Clone Wilds can appear on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. A Clone Wild symbol creates a Wild symbol in its position and in the adjacent position to the left. A Clone Wild can have a multiplier. If one is present, this multiplier is also applied to new Wild symbols.
If a Clone Wild lands on top of a Wild or Expanding Wild symbol, instead of creating a new symbol, it adds its multiplier value to that symbol. If a Clone Wild does not have a multiplier, it still increases its value by 1.
If a Clone Wild lands on top of a Mystery symbol that has turned into a paying symbol, it turns it into a Wild. If the Clone Wild has a multiplier, its value is added to the symbol.
On each spin, symbols with at least one type of payout can become Clone Wilds on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5 for the duration of that spin.
After collecting a total of 24 tapes, the Surveillance Screen feature is activated, replacing the CRT TV. A re-spin is also awarded, guaranteeing the bonus game.
The observation screen is divided into four sections. Each section corresponds to a cassette tape. When a cassette tape lands, there’s a chance it will highlight a fragment of the image on the corresponding section of the screen. It can also land on an already completed fragment, in which case nothing happens. Finally, it can add all remaining fragments of the image at once.
Each time a cassette tape is sent to the observation screen, there’s an equal chance that the corresponding function will be triggered.
When a symbol on one of the screens is fully completed, one of the following features is triggered:

Bonus Game
Feature activation progress and the state of the observation screen are saved between game rounds for each bet level.
Three or more bonus symbols activate the bonus game with bonus spins. The bonus game begins at the end of a game round when there are no winning combinations remaining.

4 bonus symbols activate the bonus game with 10 bonus spins.

Sticky Mystery
In the Sticky Mystery Symbols bonus mode, all Mystery symbols remain on the reels during bonus spins. Each spin transforms a Mystery symbol into one of the symbols.
In the Sticky Mystery Symbols bonus mode, the Add Multiplier symbol increases the existing multiplier or adds a multiplier value to one or more Mystery symbols.
In both bonus modes, the Add Multiplier symbol can add two bonus spins to the bonus meter.
