Get Kraken is a 5-reel, three-row video slot with 40 paylines. The game features nine regular pay symbols that award wins when three or more line up on a payline, starting from the leftmost reel. The game also features coins and several different gem symbols that pay out when the Kraken character lands in a special central position. There are also two treasure chests located above the reels, which award a certain number of free spins when opened. Three special Kraken Collectors can be unlocked by collecting a certain number of Kraken symbols, each of which activates a different modifier when appearing next to any coins or gems.

Buy Bonus

Kraken Symbols

The Kraken symbol is a collector symbol that can land in the center position on the reels. If coins or gems also land, their prize is awarded. Special Krakens with different background colors can be unlocked by collecting a certain number of Kraken symbols. Each time a Kraken lands, with or without coins/gems, it decreases the counter displayed on the screen. Once unlocked, they remain unlocked, and this game state is retained when exiting the game.

After landing 5 Krakens, the BOOST Kraken is unlocked. It appears with green bubbles behind it. If it lands near coins or gems, it shoots a bubble at one or more of them. Any coins hit are transformed into a gem, and any gems hit are transformed into a higher-quality gem. A higher-quality gem cannot be upgraded and will not be hit by a bubble.

After 10 more Krakens land, the MULTI Kraken is unlocked. It appears with blue bubbles behind it. If it lands next to coins or gems, it creates a multiplier (x2, x3, or x4) that is applied to all coin and gem prizes in the reel window before they are collected.

After 15 more Krakens land, the RESPIN Kraken is unlocked. It appears with red bubbles behind it. If it lands next to coins or gems, they lock in place before the remaining reels are re-spinned to try to add more. This continues until the reels are filled with coins and gems or until a new one is added. Then, all coins and gems are collected.

Coin/Gem Symbols

The reels feature gold coins and four different colored gem symbols. Each coin symbol displays its cash value. The four colored gems are associated with four bank prizes: MINI (green gem), MINOR (blue gem), MAJOR (purple gem), and GRAND (red gem). The bank name is displayed on the gem. These prizes are awarded when the Kraken also lands in the center position. Cash or bank prizes are not increased when the gold bet is active.

Treasure Chests

Two treasure chests appear above the reels. One or both are added each time the Kraken lands on the reels. Each time something is added to them, they can increase in size and can randomly open, awarding a certain number of free spins. The size of the chest does not affect the chance of opening it.

Reel Modifiers

Sometimes at the start of a spin, the Kraken character shoots a wave of bubbles above the reels, obscuring the payout symbols and revealing a multitude of coins and gems spinning through them. This ensures that the Kraken will land next to several coins and gems during that spin.

Sometimes at the end of a spin, the Kraken character may shoot a bubble at the center reel. This will cause it to move up or down toward the Kraken symbol. The Nudge modifier only awards wins from the final position.

Free Spins

Free spins are awarded when opening treasure chests in the base game. The Kraken that triggered the free spins is locked in place, and the color of the bubbles behind it will alternate during each free spin, matching any unlocked in the base game.

Treasure chests are added to each spin during the Kraken bonus, and when opened, they award additional spins. If a chest is opened, it then closes and returns to its smallest size and can be opened multiple times during free spins. When it resets, it may also change color. At the end of free spins, the size to which the treasure chests were built is retained in the subsequent base game.

If coins or gems land, they are guaranteed to be awarded along with the Kraken in the game on each spin. If special colored bubbles are behind the Kraken, a modifier is awarded as in the base game. Free spins are awarded with the same bet and paylines as in the base game.
