About the Game
Fat Cats DoubleMax™ is a 5-reel, 5-row video slot from Reflex Gaming featuring 50 paylines. The game incorporates Gigablox™ reels and cascading wins combined with DoubleMax™ multipliers. Play to trigger the Free Spins mode and three different reel bonuses. During Free Spins, the win multiplier does not reset between wins, offering massive winning potential!
Winning symbols vanish from the reels, making way for new ones. After each cascade, a Wild symbol is added to a random position on the reels before the remaining positions are filled. Added Wilds can replace existing Wilds but cannot substitute for Bonus symbols.
Buy Bonus
By selecting the bonus buy button, the player can pay 100x the base bet to purchase the free spins mode at the selected base bet level. The mode is triggered by 3, 4, or 5 bonus symbols. Landing 3 bonus symbols awards 7 free spins.
Landing 4 bonus symbols awards 10 free spins.
Landing 5 bonus symbols awards 12 free spins.
Bonuses are evaluated at the end of all symbol drops within a spin.
The Wild symbol substitutes for all symbols except bonus symbols.
Wild symbols do not have a payout and can appear on any reel. Therefore, a line consisting solely of Wild symbols will not result in a win for that line.
Reel Bonuses
Golden Claw Bonus
After a losing spin, the Golden Claw can merge 2 or 3 adjacent standard reels into a single giga-reel. The new giga-reel moves to the leftmost reel position to create a win. On subsequent spins, the reel shifts one position to the right until it reaches the rightmost position or stops generating a win.
The Golden Claw modifier does not trigger during free spins.
Paw Strike Bonus
A mouse may appear while the reels are spinning. A cat’s paw will strike it. Each hit advances the multiplier trail by one step. The Paw Strike increases the starting multiplier for that spin by 1–5 steps (up to a maximum of x32). The multiplier trail begins at this boosted value for the resulting spin. The multiplier will increase as usual during any cascade sequence in the game.
The Paw Strike bonus does not occur during free spins.
Champagne Bonus
After a losing spin, champagne spills onto reel 1, 2, or 3, transforming all symbols on that reel into the same symbol and creating a win.
The Champagne Bonus can trigger during both the base game and free spins. The Champagne Bonus will not occur on spins featuring Giga Reels or active bonus symbols.
Free spins
Free spins are triggered by 3 or more bonus symbols.
During free spins, the win multiplier does not reset after each spin.
Free spins cannot be retriggered.
Free spins are played with the same bet and paylines as the triggering spin.
Doublemax™ Multiplier
Each win is multiplied by the current win multiplier. After each win, the multiplier doubles for the next cascade. In the base game, the multiplier resets to x1 when the cascade sequence ends.
When free spins begin, the multiplier starts at x1. It does not reset between free spins and resets to x1 when the mode ends.
Possible multipliers: x1, x2, x4, x8, x16, x32, x64, x128, x256, x512, x1024, x2048, x4096, x8192, x16384. The maximum multiplier is x16384.
Gigablox™
Gigablox are oversized symbols on the reels that function as individual symbols within a 2×2 or 3×3 formation. Wild symbols and bonus symbols can land as Gigablox. Wild symbols can appear as 2×2 or 3×3 Giga symbols on a Giga reel.
Multiple bonus symbols can appear on a Gigablox reel, but only in a single-symbol-high configuration. Bonus symbols appearing on Giga reels have a height of 1 and a width matching that of the Giga reel (1×2 or 1×3).
