Vault Raiders DoubleMax is a 5×3 video slot from Bulletproof Games with up to 243 ways to win. The game features Cascading Reels and a Free Spins feature.

Cascade+

CASCADE+ is the name of the mechanic used in both the main game and the Free Spins section of Vault Raiders DoubleMax to activate Free Spins by moving along the track. Each winning combination from the 243 possible ways to win is credited to the win counter. All symbols involved in a win are removed from the game window, leaving empty spaces. After symbols are removed, the current position on the Free Spins track increases by one. One to three wild symbols are randomly added to the empty spaces. Symbols located above the empty spaces fall down, forming a new full game window. If falling symbols result in new wins, the process repeats: wins are credited, the track position increases, wild symbols are added, and symbols fall to fill the new empty spaces. When no new wins remain in the game window, the main game ends. If a winning cascade propels the player far enough along the Free Spins track, they are awarded the minimum number of Free Spins indicated on the track. The player’s position on the track is reset at the start of each new game.

Doublemax

Vault Raiders DoubleMax uses the ‘DoubleMax’ mechanic. Each winning cascading combination increases the MULTIPLIER by x2, progressing as x2, x4, x8, x16, x32, x64, x128, x256, x512, x1024, x2048. The MULTIPLIER resets to x1 at the end of the game cycle. The DoubleMax MULTIPLIER is also active during the Free Spins feature and doesn’t reset until the very end, allowing for truly big wins. The ‘DoubleMax’ MULTIPLIER also applies to wins from the Bank Vault symbols appearing on the screen.

Safe symbol

Safe symbols are single Scatter symbols that can appear anywhere on the screen both in the main game and during the Free Spins bonus feature. Each Safe symbol that appears on the screen opens and reveals a cash prize. This cash prize is multiplied by the current DoubleMax™ MULTIPLIER and awarded to the player. Track

The Free Spins track shows the position the player must reach to receive Free Spins. Each time a reel pops, the Free Spins track advances one position. The current reel position is indicated by the highest highlighted position. When no more reels pop and the current reel position is highlighted by the icon at the top, the player receives the Free Spins feature. The icons on the track represent the Bank and four Specialists, each with a unique set of skills. When a player reaches a position with a Specialist, they are added to the Vault Raid team, contributing their skills to the Free Spins feature and increasing their chances of big wins. If only the Vault symbol appears in the reel without any winning symbols, the reel position does not advance. Only winning symbols advance the reel position. Free spins

Free Spins are played with the bet placed when they are activated. The number of Free Spins awarded is 8, 10, 12, 14, or 16, depending on the player’s current position on the track. The Free Spins feature is played within the bank, and the player receives a minimum of 8 Free Spins, plus any Specialists who joined the team upon entry (depending on the player’s position on the track). Free Spins use the same Cascade+ mechanic as the main game to award wins and advance along the Free Spins track, increasing the player’s current number of remaining Free Spins. Mini-feature: Bank Vault Robbery

Bank Vault Robbery symbols are single Scatter symbols that can only appear on reel 5 during the Free Spins bonus. During Free Spins, if the Bank Vault Robbery symbol appears on reel 5, a mini-feature is activated, giving the player a chance to crack the code and win a large prize from the bank vault. After the symbol appears, the player is taken to the code entry screen, where they can attempt to open the vault by guessing the correct combination. The player is given three attempts to crack the code. If attempts are exhausted before the vault is opened, the player can continue from the same point and receive three more attempts, provided the mini-feature is reactivated within the same Free Spins feature. If the player enters the Free Spins feature with Nate Cipher on their team (position 7 or higher on the track), the number of attempts increases to four instead of the standard three.

There are three types of bank vaults that can be opened, from lowest to highest value:

• Bronze Vault: contains a prize of 20 to 100 times the base bet and is protected by a 3-digit code.
• Silver Vault: contains a prize of 125 to 500 times the base bet and is protected by a 4-digit code.
• Gold Vault: contains a prize of 600 to 2000 times the base bet and is protected by a 5-digit code.

All codes consist of unique numbers. The player must select different numbers on the keypad to attempt to crack the code and open the vault. Correct numbers are displayed in yellow, while incorrect numbers are displayed in red. Selected numbers are cleared from the keypad to prevent re-entry. Team Members

Each team member, activated by reaching their track position in the main game, is added to the Free Spins feature. Their goal is to use their special skills to help open bank vaults in the Bank Vault Heist mini-feature. These skills are automatically activated when entering the activated Free Spins feature.

Encore

The main game features an additional mode called Encore. Encore awards the player a re-spin every time the Free Spins TRACK lands on the re-spin position (position 4 on the track, marked with a circular arrow).
