Sticky Bandits Thunder Rail is a 26 to 53 payline slot game that starts as a 5 high, 4 reel game and can be expanded to a 7 high, 7 reel game. The game features sticky WILDS that trigger re-spins, expanding columns and reels, tall WILDS, big WILDS, multiplier WILDS, cash WILDS, diagonal WILDS and random WILDS, as well as a TRAIN Heist bonus game.
Every time a WILD symbol appears, the WILD feature is activated and a re-spin is awarded.
Whenever you land a WILD in the base game, it will become stuck in place, activate its feature and award a re-spin. This also applies to re-spins. Landing additional WILDS will not award additional re-spins, and thus a spin cannot award more than one re-spin. A round can still have multiple re-spins as long as each new spin continues to award more. When a WILD becomes stuck in place, it will remain in that position until the end of the round. BONUS SYMBOLS cannot land during re-spins.

The Bonus Game uses a multiplier activation feature with a character activator. The player starts with 3 lives. Spins continue until the player runs out of lives, with each spin consuming one life. Whenever a symbol lands anywhere on the screen, it is stuck in place and persists until the end of the Bonus Game, although it can be modified by other features. Whenever a symbol lands, 3 lives are restored.
All collectible symbols in the bonus game have a feature attached to them. All symbols have an internal status – fresh, consumed or refreshed. All symbols are fresh when they land after a spin until they are filled, at which point they are considered consumed. Refreshed is a special status that can be triggered by the RE-ACTIVATOR feature.
At the end of each spin, when fresh symbols land in the player’s area, these features are evaluated and filled. In the event that multiple features are eligible to fill, the order of fill is based on the feature type. From first to last: GRABBER -> DOUBLER -> BOOSTER -> RE-ACTIVATOR. If different copies of the same feature are eligible to fill, the order of fill is based on when the symbol was placed – the oldest one first. After all features have been filled, if any symbols are in a refreshed state due to the RE-ACTIVATOR feature, they are now filled. This activation sequence is a separate step from the main activation sequence, but otherwise follows the same rules.
All features affect symbols in a straight line segment that extends from themselves. This line segment continues until it reaches the edge of the play area. Any play area sections that are on this line but are separated by a non-play area section are excluded. The line segment does not include the feature symbol itself. The direction that a feature can activate is up, down, left and right. The direction is randomly chosen, but will always choose the direction in which the feature symbol connects to another symbol.
Landing 3 or more BONUS SYMBOLS in the main game will trigger the TRAIN ROBBERY BONUS GAME.
TRAIN HIST BONUS GAME uses the ACTIVATOR feature. The symbols that land can only be activated if the Bandit can reach them in a horizontal or vertical direction. He then chooses a direction to activate the feature on the symbol randomly.
If a GUARD symbol appears, the Bandit must use his ammo to destroy it. If GUARD symbols appear in 3 consecutive spins, the Bandit runs out of ammo and the Bonus Game ends. GUARD symbols have no value and are for entertainment purposes only.
