About the Game
French Roulette is a variation of classic roulette played on a wheel with numbers from 0 to 36. The game uses a unique French roulette table layout and has a La Partage rule, which returns half of your money on equal odds bets when the ball lands on the zero. The object of the game is to predict the number the ball will stop on by placing one or more bets that cover that number. You win if your bet covers the winning number.
How to Play
Select a chip value and place bets on the roulette table layout, where all standard betting positions are represented. You can continue to place or change bets until the betting time expires. Your total bet for the current round is displayed in the total bet window.
The ball is then launched into the roulette wheel according to the actual roulette spin rule. When the ball stops in one of the numbered pockets, the winning number will be highlighted and displayed on the screen. If any of your bets cover the winning number, you will receive your winnings according to the roulette payout table. The amount you have won will be shown in the winnings message.
Bets
There are many types of bets that can be placed on a roulette table. Each bet can cover a single number or a certain range of numbers, and each type has its own payout odds. Bets placed on the numbered cells or on the lines between them are called inside bets, and those placed on special fields below and to the sides of the board are called outside bets. The numbers included in the bet, if you bet on this betting field, are highlighted.
Inside Bets
- Straight Up Bet-place your chips directly on any single number (including zero).
- Split Bet-place your chips on the line between any two numbers (e.g., split 0/2, 16/17).
- Street Bet-place your chips at the lower end of any row of numbers on the Outside Bets side. A Street Bet covers three numbers (e.g.. Street 7, 8, 9). Bets placed at the junctions of 0, 1 and 2 or 0, 2 and 3 are also accepted as Street Bets.
- Corner Bet-place your chips at the cross lines where four numbers meet. All four numbers are covered (e.g., Corner 5, 6, 8, 9). A bet placed on 0, 1, 2, 3 (the lower junction of 0 and 1) is also considered a Corner Bet.
- Six Line Bet-place your chips on the T-shaped crossing lines between two adjoining streets. A Six-Line bet covers all the numbers in both rows, for a total of six numbers (e.g., Six Line 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9).
Outside Bets
- Column Bet-place your chips in one of the three boxes marked with a triangle at the end of the columns to cover all twelve numbers in that column. The zero is not covered by any of the columns.
- Dozen Bet-place your chips in one of the three boxes marked “P12” (Première Douzaine or 1-12), “M12” (Moyenne Douzaine or 13-24), and “D12” (Dernière Douzaine or 25-36) to cover the twelve numbers in the sequence 1 to 36. The zero is not covered by any of the dozens.
- Even Chances – place your chips in one of these six boxes to cover the 18 numbers on the board correspondingly: Red/Black, Pair/Impair (Even/Odd), Manque/Passe (1-18/19-36). The zero is not covered by any of these boxes.
- Red/Black – place your chip in the Red or Black box to cover the 18 red or 18 black numbers. The zero is not covered by these bets.
- Pair/Impair (Even/Odd) – place your chip in the respective box to cover either the 18 even or 18 odd numbers. The zero is not covered by these bets.
- Manque/Passe (1-18/19-36) – place your chip in the respective box to cover either the first 18 numbers (1-18) or the last 18 numbers (19-36). The zero is not covered by these bets.
Wheel Sectors
Bets on Wheel sectors is a convenient way for Roulette players to place bets on a large sector of the wheel at once. Each bet covers a different set of numbers and offers different payout odds.
