About the Game

Cathedral 9 by ELK Studios is a 6-column, 5-row scatter pay slot with drop symbols and a feature reel. The minimum bet is €0.20, the maximum bet is €100.00. Each bet is worth 100. Wins are paid for 8 or more identical symbols anywhere on the reels.

Max Win

Winnings are paid out at the end of the game round. The maximum total win per game round in Cathedral 9 cannot exceed 25,000x the bet. Once you reach the winning limit, the game round ends and all winnings are paid out. You cannot change your bet once the game round has started.

A game round at the selected bet level begins when the player presses the Spin button. The game can be played automatically by activating the Auto Spin feature. Hold Spin or use the Auto Spin button to set the number of automatic rounds. Wins and winning combinations are paid out according to the payout table.

Each winning combination on the main field is completed, and symbols, except for the mysterious sarcophagi, are removed from the field. Gravity is applied. Symbols in the Feature Reel above empty spaces descend to the main field. The main field and the Feature Reel are then filled with new symbols. Any new winning combination repeats the cycle, and all accumulated wins are paid out at the end of the game round or Free Drop.

• Explosion Feature

• Collect Feature

All wins are collected, and Mystery Super Sarcophagi are closed. Mystery Super Sarcophagi that reach the bottom of the board move one symbol down, and all Mystery Regular and Super Sarcophagi reveal a new type of payout symbol or Wild symbol. This process repeats until there are no winning combinations left on the board.

The global multiplier value starts at x0. The global multiplier is activated when the Mysterious Super Sarcophagus reaches the bottom of the field. The global multiplier remains active until the end of the game round or Free Drop. Possible multiplier values ​​on Mysterious Sarcophagi are: 2, 3, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 500, or 1000.

Entombed

The Entombed feature is activated when the Entombed symbol fills the entire feature reel and is triggered when the reel runs out of winnings. All symbols on the reel are replaced by the same payout symbol.

The Super Entombed feature is activated when the Entombed super symbol fills the entire feature reel and is triggered when the field runs out of wins. All symbols on the field are replaced by the same high- or medium-value payout symbol.

The Mini Entombed symbol is triggered when it appears on the field. The Mini Sarcophagus symbol creates a mysterious sarcophagus in the empty symbol position above it.

Holy Collect

Holy Collect can be triggered during any spin or Free Drop. Energy is added to Sacred Rally when a Sacred Blocker lands on the Feature Reel. Sacred Rally remains active between game rounds. When triggered, Sacred Rally adds 3, 4, 5, or 6 sarcophagi to the battlefield. Each game round has an equal chance of triggering the Sacred Rally feature.

Any payout symbol can be large and have a size of 2×2, 3×3, or 4×4.

Large symbols pay out according to the number of regular 1 x 1 symbols they cover. This means that one large 2 x 2 symbol is worth 4 regular symbols, and one large 3 x 3 symbol is worth 9 regular symbols.

If a large symbol stops falling when there are empty spaces below it, it fills those spaces with regular 1 x 1 symbols of the same type.

If there are no winnings left on the field, a large symbol may appear that replaces symbols. This can occur during any drop or Free Drop.

Bonus Game

Three or more bonus symbols activate the Free Drop bonus game. Each bonus symbol awards 2, 3, or 4 Free Drops. The maximum number of bonus symbols is 6. The global multiplier value remains the same for all Free Drops. Mysterious Super Sarcophagi that reach the bottom of the field activate the global multiplier in the bonus game if it already has an inactive multiplier value. The global multiplier is deactivated between Free Drops.

The appearance of a bonus symbol in the bonus mode awards additional Free Drops. The number of additional Free Drops is determined in the same way as when the bonus game is initially launched.

The bonus super game is activated by winning with all nine types of payout symbols in the bonus mode. The bonus super game awards 2, 3, or 4 additional Free Drops, and each Free Drop begins with an additional 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 Mysterious Super Sarcophagi on the field.
