About the Game

Casino Hold’em is a Live Casino game played with one standard 52 card deck. It is a variant of Texas Hold’em, one of the most popular poker games, in which you play against the house. The goal of Casino Hold’em is to put together a better five-card poker combination than the dealer. Your five-card combination consists of two starting cards (pocket cards) and five total cards.

RTP

The optimal theoretical Return to Player (RTP) in Casino Hold’em is 99.18% based on the ANTE (total bet).

ANTE (total bet)99.18%

How to Play

To start the game, select the ANTE bet size and place it on the ANTE bet field when the bet timer starts.

Your total bet will be displayed in the Total Bet field.

After the timer expires, the dealer deals you two cards face up and two cards face down to the dealer. The dealer then deals three total cards – the flop face up. These three cards are common for you and the dealer to make up your hands.

Decision time will begin, during which you must decide whether to continue your hand or discard your cards. Select PLAY to continue the round of play and the Play bet, double your Ante bet, will automatically be placed in place of the Play bet. Select FOLD to end the round and lose your Ante bet.

Side bets are independent of your PLAY/FOLD decision.

After you have made your decision, the dealer deals two more community cards on turn and river and shows his pocket cards. The best five-card poker hands are now formed.

Your five-card poker hand is compared to the dealer’s hand. You win if your hand is better than the dealer’s and you are paid a prize according to the payout table. Your original bet is also returned.

Side Bets

Side bets are judged only on the first five cards dealt (your two pocket cards and the three cards dealt on the flop).

AA+

AA+ is an optional extra bet that can only be made if you have also made an ANTE bet.

If you have a pair of Aces or a higher combination, you win the AA+ bet and receive a payout according to the AA+ payout table. Your bet must cover the place of the AA+ bet to claim a win.

JACKPOT bet

The JACKPOT bet is an optional side bet. To bet in place of the JACKPOT bet, you must first bet ANTE.

You win if your original five-card hand, i.e. your two pocket cards and the flop, forms any of the following combinations:

  • Street Flush
  • Kare
  • Street

Your bet must cover the JACKPOT betting spot to claim a win.

Winning Hands

Individual cards are ranked in descending order: ace, king, queen, queen, jack, 10, 9, 8, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2. The ace can be the highest value card in a straight of A, K, Q, J, 10 or the lowest value card in a straight of 5, 4, 3, 2, Α. Hand combinations from highest payout to lowest payout: A royal flush is a straight flush containing A, K, Q, Q, J, and 10 of the same suit.

Winning Hands

A Street Flush contains five cards in sequence, all of the same suit, e.g. 9, 8, 7, 6 and 5, all hearts. Two Street Flushes are ranked by comparing the higher card in each hand.

Winning Hands

A Kare contains all four cards of the same rank plus any other card, such as four aces. Of the two Kares, the hand with the higher ranked cards wins. If both cards are the same, a fifth card, known as the Kicker, is compared.

Winning Hands

A Full House contains three cards of one rank and two corresponding cards of another rank, e.g. three kings and two sixes. Between two Full Houses, the hand with the three higher ranked cards wins. If both cards are the same, the hand with the higher pair wins.

Winning Hands

A flush contains five cards of the same suit, such as five cards that are all clubs. If a hand matches more than one of these combinations, the highest one is applied. Two Flushes are ranked by comparing the higher ranked card in each hand. If both cards are the same, the second highest ranked card is compared, and so on until no difference is found.

Winning Hands

Straight contains five cards of consecutive rank, such as 9, 8, 7, 6 and 5. If a hand matches more than one of these combinations, the highest one is applied. Two Straight are ranked by comparing the higher ranked card in each hand.

Winning Hands

A triple contains three cards of the same rank, plus two other cards, such as three kings. Between two threes, the hand with the higher ranked cards wins. If both cards are the same, the kickers are compared, starting with the highest.

Winning Hands

Two pairs contain two cards of the same rank, plus two other cards of equal rank to each other and another card that does not match any of the others, such as two aces and two kings. Of the two pairs, the hand with the higher ranked pair wins. If both pairs are the same, the second pair is compared. If both hands have the same two pairs, the hand with the highest kicker wins.

Winning Hands

A pair contains two cards of the same rank, plus three cards that do not match any of the others. The higher ranked pair wins against the lower ranked pair. If both hands have the same pair, the kickers are compared in descending order, and the hand with the highest kicker wins.

Game Outcomes

The results of the game are determined by comparing your and the dealer’s best five-card hands formed from each player’s two pocket cards and five total cards in any combination. The dealer qualifies with a pair of fours or higher. If the dealer does not qualify, your winnings are less, but you receive a payout regardless of the outcome of the hand.
