About the Game

Captain Winbreaker is a 5-reel, 4-row slot from Northern Lights. Additional rows can be activated. Free spins can activate up to 6 rows. The goal is to spin the reels until a winning combination appears. Winning combinations are highlighted on the reels and are paid out.

Wild Symbols

Wild symbols appear on any reel in the main game and free spins. Compass Wild symbols are sticky Wild symbols that appear only in the main game. This Wild symbol can substitute for all symbols except the Compass and Scatter symbols. Wild symbols can form their own winning combinations by appearing within a payline combination.

Scatter Symbols

The bonus symbol is a scatter symbol. This symbol does not award a payout. Scatter symbols appear only in the main game. Scatter symbols can land on compass wild symbols. Scatter symbols are visible through compass wild symbols. When scatter symbols land on compass wild symbols, the game history will split both symbols in half.

Compass Counter

Compass symbols appear in the main game. In the main game, there is a compass counter below each reel. Each compass symbol that lands is added to the corresponding compass counter. Landing 4 compass symbols on a reel fills the compass counter, and a Compass Wild symbol is activated on that reel. When a Compass Wild symbol is activated on the next spin, that reel is filled with sticky Compass Wild symbols. In each subsequent spin, the Compass Wild symbols decrease by 1 position on the reel. As the number of Compass Wild symbols decreases, the corresponding compass counter is adjusted until it is reset. Compass symbols do not land on reels containing Compass Wild symbols. Free Spins can be activated during Compass Wild symbols. The Compass Counter and Compass Wild symbol progress are saved for each bet.

Win Breaker™ Hunt

Locating 2 Scatter symbols adds 1 token to the Win Breaker™ meter. The current Win Breaker™ value is displayed in the left boat of the Win Breaker™ meter. Collect 25 tokens to fill the Win Breaker™ meter and earn a new Win Breaker™ value in the right boat. When a new Win Breaker™ value is reached, the next Win Breaker™ value increases by 10. The minimum Win Breaker™ value is 10x. There is no maximum Win Breaker™ value. The Win Breaker™ meter resets when a new Win Breaker™ value is reached. A Win Breaker™ value is reset when used in Free Spins. The Win Breaker™ meter’s progress is saved for each bet.

Scatter Respin Nudge

Landing two Scatter symbols in the top three rows triggers a Scatter Respin Nudge. All reels with a Scatter symbol are retained and move down one row. As they move down, Scatter symbols leave Wild symbols above them. The remaining reels without a Scatter symbol spin again. The feature ends when a Scatter symbol reaches the bottom row or five Scatter symbols appear on the reels. The Scatter Respin Nudge cannot be triggered on a reel containing Compass Wild symbols. During the feature, landing three or more Scatter symbols triggers free spins.

Free Spins

Locating 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols triggers an unlimited number of free spins.

• 3 Scatter symbols trigger free spins with a Win Breaker™ value of 1x.
• 4 Scatter symbols trigger free spins with a Win Breaker™ value of 1.5x.
• 5 Scatter symbols trigger free spins with a Win Breaker™ value of 2x.

The resulting Win Breaker™ value is set as the Win Breaker™ cap.

Treasure Chest symbols appear only during free spins. Landing a Treasure Chest symbol reveals either a gem or nothing. Revealing a gem triggers a bonus wheel spin. The bonus wheel awards one of the following rewards:

• The reward removes all low-paying symbols for the remaining free spins.
• A cash prize of 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 8x, or 10x the bet.
• The reward increases the Win Breaker™ limit by 1, 2, 5, or 10.
• An extra life allows you to exceed the Win Breaker™ limit without ending the bonus.
• The reward increases the reel height by 1, up to a maximum of 6 rows.

The expanded reel’s height resets at the end of the feature. A MINI, MINOR, MAJOR, or GRAND jackpot may also be awarded. The Treasure Chest symbol leaves behind sticky Wild symbols that remain until the feature ends. Free Spins are played automatically until the Win Breaker™ limit is reached in a single spin. The same bets are used as in the spin that triggered the feature.

Paylines

A payline is a series of adjacent symbols lining up on the reels. The number of paylines played depends on the number of active rows. Captain Winbreaker features 20 paylines in the main game and up to 30 in free spins. Payline wins are calculated from left to right, starting from the first reel. Players receive a win when identical symbols land on adjacent positions that form a payline.
